Random Acts of Kindness

How do you change the world? One act of random kindness at a time. — Evan Almighty (movie)

This rings true today. It’s not the big gestures that always make an impact, not that they are not good — they are great. They are just not the only way to show that we care, appreciate, love, and value each other. Even the smallest gestures can go a long way.

Especially now with the pandemic, we need to show that we care in whatever way we can because we’re reminded everyday of how short and precious life really is and the need to focus on things and people that matter most to us.

So whether it’s through encouraging words, constantly checking up on loved ones and reminding them that they are appreciated, saying a prayer for the sick, supporting someone struggling financially, being kind and patient to our colleagues at work and asking people we meet how they are doing when we can.

A ‘how are you really doing’ can go a long way to making someone’s day and maybe even enough to bring back a person that was on the edge — at the end of road, almost giving up on life. It could literally save a life.

Let’s do what we can to spread some love and kindness whenever we can as these are the times where we all need them the most. The world needs it now more than ever. Stay Safe and let’s remember that we all have something in us that we can offer to the world.
